Essential Cleansing Oil

This week’s must-have product is Aloette’s Essential Cleansing Oil make-up remover. I have been a loyal consumer of this product for years and it has never disappointed. The Essential Cleansing Oil has a great rose scent and melts the make-up off your face in seconds. So say goodbye to those raccoon eyes in the morning that are a result of left over make-up from the night before.

While looking up reviews for this product, to see what others thought of the oil I learned that the Essential Cleansing Oil also strengthens your lashes and helps them grow. Another loyal consumer of Aloette's products uses the oil to
moisturize her dry hands in the winter.
This multi-purpose product retails around $20. To order this product go on Aloette's website and find a consultant near you.

White Clay Miracle

Rare Earth Pore Cleasing Masque
I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with my skin, as it is very sensitive to harsh soaps, creams, makeup etc…This week’s must-have product has put the love back in our relationship.
Kiehl’s Rare Earth Pore Cleansing Masque does exactly what it claims to do on the jar, cleanses, purifies and detoxifies. The Amazonian White Clay leaves your face feeling fresh and reborn.
As recommend by the saleswomen, I use it once or twice week, after exfoliating my face in a hot shower using a face scrub.
All Kiehl’s products are derived from natural ingredients and the entire product line if formulated for sensitive skin.
The above link will lead you to Kiehl’s website where you can view their entire product line.

Lets Talk Hair

Top 3 of My Favourite Hair Products

Stylize active wear hair elastics

Last month I started an intense workout regime in efforts to get fit after the holidays and in time for my first cruise at the end of February. What I find most frustrating when exercising, other than the hundreds of push-ups and suicide jumps my workout entails, is my hair elastic not serving its purpose to hold my hair off my sweaty forehead, as I bounce around in my living room a.k.a. home gym. Shoppers Drug Mart is where I found my solution to my hair situation. Stylize has created active hold hair elastics that have rubber woven into them. This elastic holds hair in place firmly, so go ahead ladies or long-haired boys…get sweaty without constantly adjusting your mane.
Trying to achieve that messy, only took two minutes to do, bun hair style? Or the perfect and polished 8 a.m. meeting bun?
Two words: bun shapers. I know, it sounds like the bun shaper should be something that Susan Somers promotes along with the thigh master, but this little donut shaped hair aid is what you need to achieve the perfect bun.

The bun shaper can be found at most hair supply stores, I bought mine at Sally’s Beauty Supply. Since I have only had this must-have product for a day, I thought it would be best to include a video of someone with more experience demonstrating how to use the bun shaper properly and struggle- free.

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment

Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment has changed my hair. Its light-weight texture, a mixture of macadamia nut oil and argan seed oil, leaves your hair feeling rejuvenated as if you just left the hair salon. Okay, it sounds as if I'm writing an advertisement for this product but honestly it's the best hair product since dry shampoo. This oil can be used on wet or dry hair, but I like to use it with the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque. When I’m in the shower I put the Deep Repair Masque through my hair (usually once a week). On top of the masque I use a dime size amount of the Healing OilTreatment and coat my hair. I leave it in for 10 minutes and rinse. This oil is worth its price of $29.50 for 4.2 oz. It lasts for months (I’ve had mine for 6 months and its half full) so go ahead and splurge, you’ll love the results!
